Karan Johar has made some of the best films in Bollywood right from his entry. Expectations from every film of his are high, but when you enter the cinema to watch 'Kurbaan', the only question you ask yourself "Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai, Yeh Kyun Ho Raha'. On the whole 'Kurbaan' is a pathetic fare, which has nothing to offer. A disastrous fate awaits at the box office. Thumbs Down! And to Shri Taran Adarshji, he's given this shitty film 4 stars on 5? Adarshji, enough giving every Karan Johar film 4 stars. Don't worry others will pay you well.

Kurbaan is one of the "FIRST TIME" movies which appeal to all the classes of cinema-goers. Its an honest attempt to tell the story behind the "IDEOLOGIES" of the fanatics who the world calls terrorists. The best thing about the film is that it doesn't draw conclusions. Its a simple film story-wise nad the writing by Karan Johar is fabulous. Avantika(Kareena) is a professor at Delhi University, one day she is introduced to a new professor Ehsaan(Saif) and sometime later, love blossoms. then they shift to USA where Avantika finds that Ehsaan is linked to a terrorist organization. She also meets Vivek Oberoi who ultimately leads to the uncovering of the whole evil plot of the aforesaid organization. The story is simple and the performances subtle.
