EXPECTATIONS -
After giving a super music album like "Badmaash Company", we expected from Pritam another magnificent work in "Khatta Meetha". Also this one was the famous Priyadarshan-Pritam Jodi which has given us many superhit tracks like "HARE RAAM", "LOVE MERA HIT HIT", "RISHTE NAATE", "DHOL BAJAAKE" etc. In short, They Haven't disappointed us any time. But this time, It's bad to say that Pritam didn't create any magic. Only one song is nice to hear and the rest are just not impressive. After a long time, Daler Mehndi has come in touch with Pritam but the formula has failed.

Review - First of all, "What is Nana Chi Taang?" will be the first question in many peoples mind. Second, The Rhythm is well but the application is wrong. Third, Lyrics are almost disgusting and very old, I mean there's nothing so new. Fourth, Maybe the song would have sounded good in Neeraj Sridhar's voice. Pritam should know that Neeraj Sridhar is his most lucky charm and he should appoint him often. We miss him in Pritam's compositions. Anyway, NANA CHI TAANG is a great misuse of a great rhythm. Lyrics are also nothing special and refreshing to impress a girl by "Chikni-Chupri Baatein". Feeling very bad to not recommend it.

Review - We all know that when it's K.K. singing in Pritam's music, the song's a master hit. And the history is unchanged. This track is one of the most beautiful tracks of this year containing also the most beautiful lyrics of this year. "Jis Pal Na Chaha Tujhko, Us Pal Sazaaein Mangi" - are the most cute and beautiful notes of the song. It was a great feeling to hear Sunidhi opposite K.K. in female voice. This songs a perfect masterpiece. You will always remember this film for only this song. A Must Listen.
03.Name - BULL SHIT

Review - It's less a song but a joke more because the songs has very funny lyrics. The theme is on what is happening all over us in this country and insinuation on our "POLITICAL HEROES" of the present time. Two Great Dialouges are in the end of the two stanzas form which my favorite one is - "Mujhe Fikar Yeh Nahi Ke Yeh Desh Kaise Chalega, Mujhe Fikar Yeh Hai Ke Aise Hi Na Chalta Rahe". Anyway, Great Inspiring lyrics by Shehzad Roy and he doesn't have such a bad voice. Shani's first track is very funny and also not so bad in composition but we would expect much better in future. This track can only be heard for its inspiring and rib-tickling lyrics.
04.Name - AILA RE AILA

Review - By The Introductory Music, It sounds like A Bhojpuri track, but then The Mega Bhangra Star Daler Mehndi takes the mic and the Bhangra starts. Kalpana Patowary also assists her. The Full song sounds like mixture of Bhojpuri & Bhangra Track. But there was nice use of Dhol. Anyway, The youth will never like this track.
VERDICT - "Khatta Meetha" is a highly disappointing music album which has only one masterpiece to hear. No other track but Sajde is gonna top the charts. Better Luck Next Time.
