In the midist of dramatic and over-acted movies - here comes a change with a simple story told with a simple way. This is one of the most sweet and cute movie I have ever seen. Not much drama, less characters, less complications - but more love, more script and more soul. Story telling was fantastic as it takes us into a journey of transformation of two wondering souls. Kareena and Shahid delivers the best performance of their career. But person who steals the show is Imtiaz Ali, he proved that Socha na tha was not a fluke - though outlined by audience. I love these kinds of films which are more near to your heart and something you want to see to freshen your heart. A big thumb up and five start to Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met - go and watch a pure cinema

This movie 'll do well on box office as it is the combination of comedy,romance,emotions,action etc.This is the 1st movie of SHAHID n KAREENA which has made people think that they have watched a good movie!! Kareena has prooved that she can act well with shahid n can also uplift their luv story!!! so, on the conclusion,the movie is a gud family timepass!!!

Well we had been cheated in recent past by selling some craps branded as Romance. But when I saw Jab We Met, I thought it will be better to forgive those frauds. Imtiaz Ali made a good debut film with Socha Na Tha but it lacked of powerpuffed performances. But this time he done his homeworks. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena performed their career best roles. Hope more to come in coming years. Pawan Malhotra looked excellent. Wonderful scripting and yes a good storyline. Well done Imtiaz! You must receive kudos for your efforts.

Funny and romantic movie. Despite the fact that I am tired of both Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, I liked this movie. Kareena had a funny character where she likes to speak unstoppable and uses direct dialogues. The writer and director Imtiaz Ali has previously also written Ahista Ahista, which I liked too. Moreover, he also wrote and directed Socha na Tha, which wasn’t so bad at all. Therefore, we should have an eye opened for projects from that corner in the future.

Mind-blowing, superb, fantastic. It's a movie to be remembered for life time. Frankly, am not so fan of Kareena, though i like Saheed very much. The reason why i went to watch the movie was the music & IndiaFM review. But i have not expected such an extravaganza... The theme of the movie may be the same as thousands of Bollywood movies (love story) but the presentation is unique. The most markable things of this movie are :- i) First & foremost the dialogs of the characters. Especially the dialogs of Kareena and her style of dialog delivery is very different from any of her previous roles also from other movies. All the conversations between Sahid & Kareena are very interesting. ii) Second the unexpectedness. You can't exactly guess the next dialog or scene of any scene. And what comes your way is a very pleasant surprise. iii) Third is the songs & placement of the songs. Just perfect. Placement of a song is equally important as the quality of it. A misplaced song feels very odd. In "Jab We Met" all songs are well placed also very well choreographed. iv) Jija-Saali ched-chad is also unique, which comes towards the end of the movie. v) Starting from the first scene till the end the excitement continues. There is not a single scene where you feel like loosing interest. Trust me... vi) Most important thing is the ideas. The innovative ways the film suggests to handle a break-up & subsequent heartburn is most uniques about this script. It was never been shown before in any movies. I am completely in love with Jab We Met. If i'll go on narrating then perhaps this review will turn into a chapter. :-) Last thing i want to say to all please never miss this movie. It's a must watch film. I feel it should be equated with DDL.

JAB WE MET: Movie review by _U_ Role as Aditya in JAB WE MET is a tailor-made role for Shahid Kapoor. He is very natural, charming and elegant. This may be the best of Shahid till now. Kareena Kapoor’s performance as a happy-go-lucky and annoyingly talkative girl is really good. Kareena(Geet) acting like an innocent girl is not actually suit to her after seeing her in many mature characters, it would have been done better by some fresh talent or young girl like Genelia De souja (as she did in Bommarillu (2006) – Telugu Movie). Still Shahid and Kareena’s combination as love-birds steals the hearts of audience. Review on the movie JAB WE MET is “Great Entertainment and The Best Movie” of the Year 2007 in Hindi language with out any doubt. After waching this movie JAB WE MET, I got the feel of DDLJ, Bommarillu. My analysis after looking at reviews of South-Indians foretells that It's going to be a huge hit in South-india as well. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars, A must see for youth

If you felt that the days of Dilwale romance will never come back, u need to get ur facts right in the nearest theatres near you. It might not match upto the plot & passion of a DDLJ; but nevertheless Imtiaz Ali has surely proven that quality romance can be created even without all the gloss of a Yash Chopra film with railway stations in the backdrop! The plot is familiar; the treatment is new and addictive. While most people wont remember his previous work but with this effort Imtiaz will be a director to look out for. His narrative style is simple yet fresh, based out of ordinary situations yet very appealing. The performances match upto the classy characterization. While Shahid plays his role to the hilt and would be loved for his subtle performance, it’s his chemistry with Kareena which is a treat to watch out. Kareena is a revelation and people who even dislike her(for on/off screen news!) will find it tough not applaud her for this one. The “Sikhni from Bhatinda” will loom over you for long after you come out of the cinema halls. The music from Pritam is of top notch and enhances the script by a level. Cinematography, editing and background all contribute in their own right. It is a superior product which will reinstigate a fact that even with a modest budget of under 10 crores you can create a wave in the Cinemas shooting on the streets of Punjab with no major star or Swiss locations by your side. SRK would have loved to be apart of it in his younger days with Adi directing it for him! But the Imtiaz-Shahid combo wont disappoint you by any means! Best business will come from North, but a must watch for all who love good cinema!
