It’s a treat for adolescents. The story reminds of the movie Koi Aap Sa where Aftab played the role what Imraan played in this movie. But the treatment of the movie makes all the difference. Both the lead actors call for special applause. Some of the dialogues are really worth remembering.

I went to go see this today (just HAD to see it) and I was actually tearing because it ended! I was just so sad that it was over. What a fantastic movie!! Typical story but incredibly well executed. The freshness is what works big time. It's like another Ishq Vishk... simple story but with a fresh, likable appeal. All the actors did a fantabulous job! Well casted and well acted. I couldn't stop blowing kisses to Imran... what a CUTIE!! =D He's going to be big in the next couple of years, guaranteed. Genelia was outstanding too..she looked and acted great! Music was another plus point. I went out of the theater singing each and every song in my head, one by one. Direction was great...screenplay, dialogues, cinematography, and the list goes on. A movie by Aamir is always quality cinema and this one is no exception. Overall a MUST SEE!! Don't miss it for anything!! Watch it ATLEAST once, heck, watch it twice. One of the best movies of this year. Everybody on this project has done a great job. Its well made and extremely fun to watch. I've seen the movie 3 times and enjoyed it everytime. Its a very fun light romantic comedy. Sure its the same old story but done in a new way to make it modern. Imran and Genelia were absolutely amazing. Genelia was so convincing and so was Imran, they have great chemistry. Abbas Tyrewala did a great job, and right now im thinking any movie with Aamir Khan (producer/director/actor) involved can never go wrong. Everybody needs to go watch this amazing and enjoyable movie. The cast is absolutely perfect in every way. This movie has heart and isn't the typical bollywood stuff.

All the performances were wonderful and the story sinks you in from the beginning to end. There is not a single part of the movie that i was bored. OK, enough is enough. Let's break it down now. Last four-five days, I've got totally messed up by such confusing reviews by different people about the two movies released on 4th. Here is mine about Jaane Tu... in simple words. To be honest, the plot is very very tacky but it still works because of two main reasons; i) the sub-plots and ii) the acting. Just the way drops of water join together to make an ocean, the same way Jaane Tu... works. Okay, well; it may not be an ocean, but a small river at least. But I'm warning again, don't expect anything path-breaking when you enter for the movie. It's because if you have watched the trailer, you pretty much know by now what you're about to experience.
