This movie marks the class and the way indian cinema has progressed over the last two decades. A succesful director down south teamingup with one of the best actors i can proudly say in the world...in their very first venture which is a remake again the risk of comprasions with the origional super hit movie is something which was a big burden on the entire team. During such testing testimes of recession and slow down if indians all over the world want to see only one thing Ghajini and Amir khan then there is something never what we never got to watch in a long time. Amir and Asin's on screen chemistry is the best in the tinsel town after Ghajini...it was a tough role for all the actors bcoz when a super hit movie is made again in another language which he does not have a clue about...make the actor of Amir khan's class give his career's best performance is something the director had managed to achieve at a very young age and in his very first hindi movie. I dont have words to express Amir's acting in the movie,he just proved there is no competation around for him he is simply the best and Ghajini is his best work till date.This is a role of his life time in his acting career. People might say hundred things critics can use the same old stupid stereotyped reviews but no one can stop the film from being the biggest earner of 2008 when the industry was going through a worst patch. Critics always say for all indian movies that the movie should have been cut by 20 mins...comeon we indians are born and boughtup watching movies with 5 to 6 songs and a running time of three hours. Every director has a different way of story telling let's respect that,all the directors cannot have a fixed running time of 2 hours and 2 songs to please the critics. Go out and watch the movie it will be one of the best time you will cherish about 2008 for yur lifetime :)

all i have to say is that this movie was way too predictable and also very unrealistic...how can an amnesiac get his memory back? he cant..so why did he and then lost it again...it was very contradictory. and the action is just too stupid...he gets stabbed and still keeps fighting. im very disappointed. way to ruin memento

lagaan very original tzp very original than comes Ghajini --- copy of the movie momento waste of time going to the movie theater and realizing i have watched this movie a million times before and i just paid 10 dollars for this crap. i think everyone in the movie theater said the same thing i was thinking at the end of the movie " Isnt the story like the movie momento" The tattoos on the body, the Polaroid snaps, the notes scattered around the house, and the smoking gun evidence? Short term memory loss, happening every 15 minutes. If this doesn’t seem like Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece Memento, then I don’t know what does. Written and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, I don’t see much of a nod of acknowledgement to Nolan’s work, and falls back on the fact that this is a Hindi remake of Murugadoss’ own Tamil movie of the same name Ghajini, produced in 2005 (Nolan’s was in 2000), which joins the ranks of films having their titles named after the chief villain.
