Dulha Mil Gaya seems to be the first movie of the year 2010, it had a strong competition with Yash Raj's Pyaar Impossible! Although both of the film's failed to do well at the box office. According to my sayings, nearly all the viewers watched the film because Shahrukh Khan seemed to be the hero in it, but appearantly he was not even in it for 60 min! He had a cameo role but the director of the film made him look like the Hero by showing him in ALL the promos! Status-Average

‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ or the English translation ‘Found a Groom’ is a product of the Indian film industry often referred to as ‘Bollywood’ Directed by Muddassar Aziz. The film saw a UK release on the 1ST of January 2010, and what a disappointing one that was. The promos of the film firstly were weak, not in the slightest did it make you feel you needed to watch this, and perhaps the best part of them was seeing SRK. The opening of the film sees a butler and a personal assistant to a supermodel fight in a very childish manner, confirming your fears that you have let your self in for one hell of a ride. The two combined with the homosexual mannerism and the ‘Shut Up’s’ drive you to demand a refund what was Aziz thinking? The beautiful Shimmer (Sushmita Sen) gracefully walks in to the film to rescues an unbearable start and yes she does dominate the screen for a split second until she speaks that is of course. The editing and narrative is as almost bad as the butler. Along comes another dare i say actor to delight you further, a party for a break up from another of his many relationships. Typical of bollywood we get to know that he has an ‘Akela Dil’ Tej/Donsi (Fardeen Khan) and by now if you haven’t fell asleep or walked out of the cinema then your in for further amusement. A will left in the name of Donsi by his deceased father with a clause attached to it that he must marry a girl from the Punjab, not to loose all he has he sets of to Punjab to marry to his dad’s wishes. The guy that can’t marry or (rather his ego so big that it won’t fit through the door) will not marry marries the Punjabi girl Samarpreet (Ishita Sharma) The film prods along with him leaving her in Punjab and returning to his bachelor life in Tobago. ‘Summer love’ writes, phones and emails her husband but gets no reply. In a desperate bid she turns up in Tobago and to her surprise her husband is having fun with other women. ‘Summer love’ has an accident and when she wakes she sees the women from the airport. The film drags on and predictably Shimmer and Summer love make plans to disrupt donsi’s world and help him some how understand that women are not an accessory and that you cant demean them. If by now you haven’t fell asleep or killed yourself then you eyes are in for some soothing. (Pawan) Shah Rukh Khan enters and you forget for a moment how bad the film really is. Summer love changes and looks more modern in the second half and Donsi is all over her however she’s trying to teach him a lesson so she stays away however that doesn’t stop Donsi. There story gets worse to the point to forget what they are doing and vaguely follow the story of Shimmer and Pawan which despite being boring is the best bit of the film. The winners of this film really are Johnny Lever who plays a minor role but extremely well and Ishita Sharma, who carries of her role convincingly enough that you walk out the cinema thinking about her presence. There are a number of scenes that really are not necessary and some pivotal to the narrative (if any) moving forward that are executed in a shoddy manner, that they may as well not been there. Over all it’s a terrible start to the year and I’m sure we’ll have more from were that came.

Im going to compare this movie to Radio - which i found to be probably one of the worst movies of 2009 simply due to HRs awesome acting (lol..) Dulha Mil Gaya surpasses it and becomes the most dissapointing movie of the year hands down - i would rather watch radio than that movie any day -- atleast there is good music in Radio -- but this movie had horrible jokes, no story, horrible acting, SRK was there but what a waste of a role, Ishita was mediocre, Sushmita and Fardeen overacted like crazy -- and why the hell would you go after a guy that is such a womanizer -- made no sense what so ever LAST BUT NOT LEAST DULHA MIL GAYA WHO THE HELL IS THE DULHA AND WHEN WAS HE LOST -- IT CANNOT BE FARDEEN -- IF IT WAS SRK HOW COME HE HAS SUCH A SMALL ROLE IN LAST BITS OF THE MOVIE - WHAT A GARBAGE MOVIE..... There is no option for 0/5 ..
