I think that the director of this album has gone for a different approach rather than the, what I like to call, Pritam approach. Basically where the music director makes a few likable songs which are "in" and will be played for a month or two but then not be heard again. The title track sung by Dhruv, the first version, I feel has a periodic feel to it. It's used to give across the story and make the listener want to find out more about the film, which by the way, has worked on me. I can't wait to see Drona! It's composed well and grows after a few listens but I found the remix(AKA V2) to be better substantially. Sunidhi Chauhan's voice and the background music now full on electric guitar sounds instead of the techno sounds heard in the original gives an all much better sound to it all. Oop Cha is a weird song that takes a few listens to grow on you, nevertheless a good song with Sunidhi Chauhan again at the vocals I think this is the only track in this album that goes for the chartbuster approach. A good listen for sure. A remix version accompanies it which isn't much of a difference it terms of likeness but welcome nevertheless. The first slow track of the album, Bandagi is a nice listen that has a good chorus. A love song by all means it's good in composition and the chorus will stick to your mind after a few listens. Nanhe Nanhe, I found, is the worst track of the album. The COMPLETE opposite of the title track remixed it has a very slow feel to it and probably won't be listened to after the first time round. A complete narrative track that will only be good in the film if it looks good. Khushi is a strange track, it makes you wonder what Drona really is about. Whereas all the tracks before this had either a period or more Tribal(oop cha) approach, Khushi has a jazz theme to it. Shaan doing well at the vocals backed by various singers, the song is one of those songs you will definately take home with you after seeing the film IF it's filmed and choreographed well. Overall Drona is a good album which has highlights on the title track, it's remix, Oop Cha and Khushi.

Drona is a flick very different from others and we expect it music much as it should be positive to watch the film too. In the past, in terms of its cost, all big film is having a great music, like Singh is King, Om Shanti Om, Krrish, Dhoom II, etc.
Drona, is the title track which is ok, sometime melodious. But its isn't enough. Its wont give you a nice impression from its first listening.
Bandagi, is foot tapping track which is decent to listen. Sunidi Chauhan back now to the action. Well, the trun down again on lyrics, its really difficult to undersatnd. What's Oop oop cha????
Nahne Nahne is a bit emotional seems to be better with film. But its too sad that Sadhana Sargam comes again but nothing rocking in this slow track. Well... average at it best.
Khushi is the worst track of the album and its memorable forgottable track of Drona. The people who loves music, don't listen to it. You will hate the music.
So... Drona is a real disappointment for Abhisheak-Goldie- Priyanka. The music can be much better, higher and bigger. Its not even enough to be an decent fair. If you don't want to be regret, don't waste your money by buying this album.

Do you wanna go to the next level? Do you wanna be in another dimension? Do you wanna live the part? Do you wanna lift up your spirit & fly? Then you must listen & live with this album! It's magic will lift you up!
The title song [Drona] is the best one in the album; the magic starts from this song! But I don't know what's the fuss about [Oop Oop Cha]? I like the remix better than the original; it has more beat to it. [Drona Redux] is also great.

i think film ki music ko film ke dekhne se pehle rate karna acha nahin hai, like example jo log ROCK ON ki music ko film ke dekhne se pehle one of the worst album of 2008 kehte the, ab film ke dekhne ke baad agar wohi log se pocha jai toh i`m sure that they will say Rock on is one of the best album of 2008. kyon ki kuch filmo ke gaane film ke story ko madenazar rakhkar rachaya jaata hain. Drona songs are too good, I like the title track ( male )and bandagi.
