Doordarshan Movie

Sunil Bhateja (Manu Rishi Chadha) is separated from his wife, Billoo (Mahie Gill) and the two are considering divorce. Their two children, Sunny (Shardul Rana) and Sweety (Archita Sharma), live with Sunil and his mother, Darshan Kaur (Dolly Ahluwalia), who has been comatose for 30 years now.

When his mother comes... out of coma, Sunil and his family members struggle to make things appear as if they are still living 30 years in the past, so that the mother does not get a shock of losing out 3 decades. In order to make everything look authentic, Sunil starts dressing up as a school boy and starts treating his wife Billoo as his close friend. They continue to do this while struggling to get a divorce.

When Darshan Kaur wakes up from the coma, she remembers Doordarshan serials which she used to watch. Her family then struggle to recreate the same. What happens in their life next is what forms the rest of the story.
