lets get this straight.don is not an original idea.it is a remake of the 1978 classic by amitabh bachchan in the lead role.so the director cannot take full credit for it.the remake of don is classy and elegant,no doubt about that but it lacks a gripping script.without a well designed script,don does very little to engage the user in the film.farhan akthar tried too hard to make his remake a hit.the screenplay was excellent and great direction but another let down about the film is its story.the film reaches a point where you dont know what is going on.and what happens next sometimes just confuses you even more.priyanka chopra is great in this movie and so is shah rukh and the special appearance by kareena is something to look forward to.arjun rampal and isha koppikar fail to carry out their characters with style.SEL's music is excellent.the trio produces yet another outstanding album after kal ho na ho,bunty aur babli and kabhi alvida naa kehna.on the whole,don is worth a great watch but shouldnt be remembered as one of the greatest movies of indian cimena
