The first scene of the movie where aamir runs down the buliding was quite unrealstic , which could have picturised very well wit the kind of technology availble . couldn't belive a cop colud fly from in autorikshaw as well . rest of the movie is just moving from one scene to another , which i personally didnt connect at all and few of friends who i had been with . The twist at the first half was incredible and i thik its the best part of the movie but it didnt carry the same exitment through out the movie and nothing else action could have been much better when compared to dhoom 2 which was incredible , music was ok and pritham is one my fav music does justify the movie , katrina role is minmal where and i dont quite understand the importance of her rather than bieng in songs and as circus partner , Abhishek and uday chopra are good since dhoom and i feel they have justified there presence. on a whole i felt movie could have been much better.

https://fenilandbollywood.blogspot.in/2013/12/movie-review-dhoom-3-by-fenil-seta.html One of the greatest and most successful movie series in Bollywood is undoubtedly Dhoom. The first one came up all of a sudden and took everyone by storm. The second one made much more noise (and money) and hence, there was considerable excitement for Dhoom 3 pre-release. The presence of superstar Aamir Khan as the thief added to the hype and buzz, and rightly so. Moviegoers also expected something different because of his presence. And in that context, Dhoom 3 is a master-stroke! It’s not just another chor-police fare but it has lot other elements and aspects that makes Dhoom 3 a film to watch out for! The story of the movie: The Western Bank Of Chicago is rocked by a series of thefts in it’s different branches and the brain behind it is Sahir (Aamir Khan). The manner in which he managed to escape right under the cops’ noses everytime stunned one and all. It’s soon discovered that Sahir has an Indian connection and hence, 2 cops from India – Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) and Ali (Uday Chopra) – are called to help. Jai and Ali have caught some really dangerous and smart robbers in the past but Sahir is nowhere close to all those thieves. He has some secrets up his sleeves which he effectively uses to his advantage. But Jai is not the one to give up so easily… Like the first 2 parts of Dhoom, Dhoom 3 commences with a sensational robbery sequence that immediately sets the mood. Having seen the first two parts, it was obvious that the action scenes would border on ‘how-the-hell-did-he-do-it’ kind of stuff. But the execution is amazing and makes for a splendid watch. Ali-Jai’s entry too is totally entertaining, and even hilarious, although few action scenes were plain stupid. The film gets better as one realizes that Sahir is a very smart chap and a strategist and knows very well how to trick the cops. However, the best is reserved for the intermission point – it’s bound to leave one stunned and wide-eyed! The best part is, one might even guess what’s in store next and yet, it’ll stun viewers once it’s unveiled. The film goes on a different path in the second half but the excitement remains. The scene at the amusement park in the night was terrific and the climax too is neatly executed. Moreover, the film is 172 minutes long but engages beautifully and never drags or bores even for a moment! Unfortunately, the film isn’t devoid of flaws. The Tap Dance is a disappointment. Few action scenes were needlessly over-the-top that didn’t make an impact. Although the chase scenes are fun, one wonders why the cops aren’t shooting at Sahir and are simply chasing him! Also, Jai Dixit finds too much about Sahir and it’s not shown how and where he secures the information from. Lastly, the series of voiceovers immediately after intermission could have been better. Dhoom 3 belongs to Aamir Khan. His performance was much more than that of a thief that robs to avenge the wrongdoings done to his family. This was an immensely challenging role and Aamir plays his difficult part with utmost ease. He looked dashing riding hi-end bikes and doing the difficult circus stunts (whilst showing his envious body). There’s no doubt that Aamir is a terrific performer and Dhoom 3 just confirms that! Abhishek Bachchan looked macho and gave his best shot too. He was especially better in the second half. Uday Chopra is a riot and raises many more laughs. The actor may have disappointed in other films but in Dhoom series, he rocks! Katrina Kaif (Aaliya) worked very hard for her character and it shows. But sadly or rather shockingly, she doesn’t have much to do in the film. And this was a disappointment since the Dhoom girls always have a significant part to essay in the film. Jackie Shroff (Iqbal Haroon Khan) is splendid in supporting role. Same goes for Siddharth Nigam (young Sahir). Tabrett Bethell (Victoria) looks cute and performs well. Pritam’s music is fine but not as memorable as Dhoom 1 and Dhoom 2. Thankfully, songs are beautifully shot. Malang obviously is the best of the lot though Kamli too makes quite an impact. Tu Hi Junoon and Bande Hain Hum Uske too were very well presented. Julius Packiam’s background score is exhilarating. Action (Conrad Palmisano, Sham Kaushal) makes for a great watch, despite going over-the-top in few scenes. Sets are larger-than-life while the acrobatics and magic tricks shown in the film add to the fun. Sudeep Chatterjee’s cinematography is top-class and the various locales of Chicago are shot with finesse. VFX is extraordinary and the level of technology showed in the film (especially the bikes) will leave audiences spellbound. Story is quite exciting and Vijay Krishna Acharya’s screenplay, dialogues and direction do total justice to it. The direction was especially mindblowing in the action and confrontational scenes. Also, note how the scene at the intermission scene was presented – just amazing! Great work! On the whole, the year ends with a DHOOM thanks to Dhoom 3! It is a fabulous entertainer with sufficient doses of action, thrill, emotion, larger-than-life grandeur and suspense too, that makes the film one of the best to have come out in 2013! Sadly, there are few glitches but its plusses easily outweigh the flaws. Aamir Khan delivers a bravura performance, like never before. At the box office, sky is the limit for this film. It’ll easily break old records, set new ones…and rightly so! https://fenilandbollywood.blogspot.in/2013/12/movie-review-dhoom-3-by-fenil-seta.html

From whatever I have seen of Dhoom:3 till now, I am sure that my year is going to end as the makers say with a dhoom. Aamir Khan who is being touted as the baddie of the year plays his role very convincingly while Katrina Kaif who is in the film to add the glam quotient, rightfully does so. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra are the usual. The basic story of the film is about Sahir's (Aamir Khan) revenge from the bankers who shut the circus where he and his father (Jackie Shroff) used to work. Sahir's plan is to rob all the money from the bank, and Jai (Abhishek) and Ali's (Uday) is to stop him. Can they stop Sahir? There is something really interesting post interval which i can't reveal right now. Anyway, gotta go,popcorn is waiting.....

As someone who doesn't regularly watch Bollywood films (Dhoom 3 was the first I saw in the theatre) I was absolutely stunned at how much Dhoom 3 managed to surprise me during its vast runtime. I cannot praise the action scenes in this movie enough, So many big Hollywood actions have dropped the ball in recent years, with obtuse use of shaky-cam and frantic over-editing. But Dhoom 3 was made by people who are masters of their craft, every jump, every punch, every slow-mo shot is framed and shot perfectly. The opening motorcycle chase through Chicago being one of the exciting chases of recent memory. Lead actor Aamir Khan carries this entire thing with a solid performance, he's clearly a little more suited to drama than action but he goes above and beyond for this film (even though I must question his wardrobe choices). If there's an issue at all, it's in the second half of the film, which changes gears to focus more on the drama and as a result loses a lot of adrenaline. Also the very end of the film is likely to leave audiences downbeat. For fans of Bollywood, and hell, even fans of Action Movies, Please check out Dhoom 3, it surprised me and i'm sure it can surprise more.

The movie got added to my 'To Watch List' ever since I heard about Aamir Khan joining the franchise. Yes, the plot was distinguished, but it lacked genuineness. The highly illogical action sequences were hugely instrumental in ruining all the excitement. To be honest, they were laughable, especially the ones in the first half. The story was commendable. Though it seemed a little unreal, it was acceptable, especially to an Indian audience. But only because it was very similar to a very popular Hollywood flick, the twists and turns seemed predictable. The emotional scenes were the life of the movie. They were brilliantly put forth. The climax again was a little unconvincing, yet it was watchable. Coming to the performances, Aamir Khan, as the protagonist, was satisfactory. But, this was definitely not the best he could have done. When compared to his work in his previous movies, this performance was fair to middling. Katrina Kaif who played the only female lead in the movie didn't have much screen-time to present her acting skills, but her dance acts were amazingly energetic and spectacular. When spoken about acting, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra were mainstream, neither much impressive nor too awful. The supporting cast was garden-variety. According to me, the director filmed the plot to a very ordinary level. It could have been a very fine heist thriller film, but failed to achieve, thanks to all the absurd action sequences. But yes, the locations were wonderful, also finely pictured. The screenplay was neat, yet could have been improved. The music from Pritam was mediocre. Hats off to the choreography, the dance acts were sensational and eye-catching. This was one big positive I could point out from the movie. The editing department did a fair job. Other departments too managed to pull out a moderate performance. Overall, the movie is reasonably good. It is entertaining, but only up to a certain extent. The decision to watch the movie in a cinema hall totally depends upon the viewer. Go for it if you are a huge Aamir Khan fan. But, if you have developed interest in watching movies with plots that are real and conceptual, I don't think this one will impress you. According to me, it was definitely a one-time watch.

* Best of 2013, * Best of Dhoom Series, * Best of Aamir khan. * Full entertainer with gripping story, direction and acting. * The movie is a visual treat. * The movie scores 10 out of 10 in all sections. Thankfully for the patient masses, Dhoom 3 has turned out to be the biggest and best event movie of the year If you have seen any of the previous movies then you know exactly what you will get here. But you will be proved wrong from the very beginning of 10 mines as this Dhoom is entirely new and as claimed by the makers they have really upped the ante. The movie is highly enjoyable, entertaining and fast-paced Aamir gives his all and as usual delivers one of the years and his best performances. Great story, great cast, great look

This movie belongs only and only to Aamir Khan. It doesn't mean the rest of the cast wasn't good, they were all good in their role but Aamir steals the show. He is the only thing you think about through out the movie and he proves again why he is one of the very best actor not only in Bollywood But throughout the whole world. This movie has everything. Action, good script, comedy, emotion and seriousness. Victor has proved he can be one of the finest directors in the country every action sequence and everything else is executed so well it is almost impossible not to like this movie. So when you see someone trashing this movie on this website, it's cause they are either an Aamir Khan hater or they just don't have the common sense to acknowledge a good movie when they see one. To sum it up here I'll rate everything out of 10.
