A passionate love story set in Allahabad between Naate (Nasir) and Neelam who meet accidentally and fall in love. They make brave choices and go through a path of love and loss to be with each other.
Nasir Jamal, a 24 years old, mischievous boy lives in Kareli Area in Allahabad... (Uttar Pradesh). His friends call him ‘Naate’ despite of him being him a tall boy. His parents keep getting complaints about his mischiefs from the society and his college. His father Shahid Jamal, doesn’t take these complaints seriously. One evening, Naate goes to drop a parcel to Sanam CD shop on request of his friend Zahid. There, he finds the shop closed and coincidently meets a girl, Neelam, age 24 years, who lives above the shop. An interesting conversation takes place between them. Naate’s genuine efforts touch Neelam’s heart and she responds and they start to know each other but sometimes Neelam is a bit reluctant to come too close to him and tries to hint him but Nasir doesn’t take that much seriously. Nasir gets into a fight with College student politician Rajeeb Mehndi who tries to impress Walia who is the love interest of Nasir’s friend Tota. On the other hand Naate’s friend Zahid has secretly been interested in Walia but could never express among the friends group as Naate always takes Tota’s side.Neelam takes Naate and runs off. Jigar chases them but they escape. Jigar takes this to the notice of Member of Parliament Shafiq Ahmad who is his boss. He calls Naate’s father Shahid Jamal and they have a heated argument. Naate and Neelam reach Lucknow but sooner a police officer catches Neelam and informs to Allahabad Police about this. Naate returns to Allahabad. Nate comes to meet his father Shahid Jamal and learns that in his absence his mother passed away. while they are mourning at mother’s grave, Jigar’s men attack and kill Shahid Jamal. Naate comes to Jigar’s house to confront him. There he finds Neelam. Will Naate and Neelam ever be able to be together?
