Revolving around the bold concept of an extra marital affair, Aksar is a fast paced romantic thriller.

A suave millionaire Raj (Dino Morea) hires a leading fashion photographer Ricky (Emraan Hashmi) to have an affair with his wife Sheena (Udita Goswami). Ricky is baffled as to why a husband would hire... a Casanova to have an affair with his wife. But Raj explains that he wants Sheena to divorce him and this would be possible only if she fell in love with another man. On the pretence of shooting their splendid mansion in London for a coffee table book, Ricky starts living at Raj and Sheena's house. Sheena detests the presence of Ricky at first, but slowly starts falling in love with him. Raj's plan backfires when after catching Ricky and Sheena red-handed, Sheena refuses to divorce him Ricky too turns his back on Raj as he is madly in love with Sheena.
