Action Replay,The New Venture Of The Blockbuster Jodi Of AKKI-VIPUL Is Here.The Movie Is A Sci-fi Comedy And Drama Movie.Action Replay Has A Good Storyline.The Concept Is Not New But Still Seems Interesting.But the Screenplay Does Not Do Full Justice To The Otherwise Interesting Story.Though There Are Some Funny Scenes And Some Entertaining One's But Overall The Movie Comes As Just A Decent Product.First Half Is Routine.The Second Half Is Good.Dialouges Are Good.Background Score Is Decent Music Is Of Decent Quality.Action Is Good. Cinematography Is Superb.Vipul Shah Makes A Sincere Effort And He Does A Decent Job.His Last Outing 'LONDON DREAMS' Was Better Than Action Replayy.Akshay Kumar Is Excellent As The Nerd As Well As The Macho.He Brings In A Different Flair Of Comedy In It.Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Is Superb. This Year She Has Four Films-'RAAVAN','ROBOT', 'ACTION REPLAYY' And 'GUZAARISH'.She Is Too Good As 'MALA'.Her Character Is Simply Lovable.Though She Was Better In ROBOT,She Is Awesome Here Too. Aditya Roy Kapur Does A Splendid Job.The Maturity Shows In His Work.Rannvijay Singh is Awesome. Shabby, so not original, yet funny. Vipul Shah has ripped off 'Back to the future' in most ghastly way possible, but his starcast held their ground for most of the movie. Story is simple enuf. Troubled marriage between parents (Akki n Ash) forces son (ARK) to start hating the cnstitution of marriage. His girlfrnds father is a scientist (How convenient :P :P) who has made a time machine. One day ARK is fed up n jumps into the machine to go set things right. Flashy colours! Atrocious costumes. We're back in the 70's.... Akki is a pansy loser, and Ash is a total bombshell. With gr8 difficulty the match is made well, Akki is made tougher, and back in real time everything is all well. Typical.

I didn't have any aspirations of watching this film when I first saw the trailers. It looked like a…  

I didn't have any aspirations of watching this film when I first saw the trailers. It looked like a dud attempt at a masala film with a story line that related to 2010 and the 1970s. I decided to watch it finally and ended up being surprised that it was I guess watch-able. Akshay pretty much takes control of the whole film and the role does allow him to succeed. I can't say the same for Aishwarya though. I am a fan of her work and think she was magnificent in Jodha Akbar and Guzaarish in recent times, but she fails to provide the same acting ability in other films - D2, Action Replay, Raavan etc. Is it the directors? Or is the co-stars?? At times she comes across annoying, but at other times sweet.

I watched the film last Sunday with my girfriend. And to tell you i really liked it very much. Much better than Khatta Meetha, Housefull and even more than Golmaal 3 lol. There's always a smile on your face when u watch the movie. THOSE WHO CRITICISED THE MOVIE MUST HAVE WATCHED A PIRATED COPY WHICH THEY HAVE DOWNLOADED. NO ONE WHO HAS SEEN THE MOVIE AT THE THEATRE WILL CRTICISE IT. WHAT IS INTRIGUING IS THAT PEOPLE WENT TO WATCH GOLMAAL MORE JUST BECAUSE OF ITS NAME. WHAT A PITY. GOLMAAL WAS NOT THAT FUN AS 1 & 2. IT WAS MUCH MORE BORING. ACTION REPLAY WAS MUCH MORE FUN AND INTERESTING. AKKI'S GOOD PERFORMANCE. COMPARE THAT TO TEES MAAR KHAN AND SEE THE DIFFERENCE. I'LL RATE ACTION REPLAY: 8/10 GO WATCH IT.
