8 A.M. Metro is directed by Raj R and produced under the banner of Studio 99. The film is the story of an unusual friendship between two married people.

The story revolves around Iravati (Saiyami Kher), whose family consists of her husband Umesh (Umesh Kamat) and two children. Iravati has a... pregnant sister Riya (Nimisha Nair) living in another city. She gets hospitalized because of some complications in her pregnancy. Iravati rushes to be at her sister’s side, leaving Umesh and her children. Over there, she takes an 8 am metro daily to visit the hospital. A man named Pritam (Gulshan Devaiah), who is married, also travels daily in the same metro. Iravati and Pritam start talking and they become friends. They gradually start spending time with each other. Just two days before Riya’s due date, she reveals something to Iravati, due to which the latter gets a shock. What did Riya tell Iravati? What will happen to her friendship with Pritam?
