Soundarya Rajinikanth welcomes her second child Veer; shares pics from the maternity shoot

Pan-India star Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth and her husband Vishagan welcomed a baby boy on Sunday. While announcing the birth of her second child on social media, Soundarya shared a series of adorable pictures. One of the photos captures the newborn’s little finer holding Soundarya’s finger. Meanwhile, the rest of the photos are from her maternity shoot featuring her son Ved and husband Vishagan.

Captioning the announcement post, Soundarya thanked the doctors and revealed the name of her second child. Her note read, “With gods abundant grace and our parents blessings… Vishagan , Ved and I are thrilled to welcome Ved’s little brother VEER RAJINIKANTH VANANGAMUDI today 11/9/22”.

As soon as the post was shared on Soundaraya’s feed, the comments section was flooded with wishes. While Gitanjali Selvaraghavan welcomed Veer, actress Sridevi Vijaykumar wrote, “such adorable pics ..god bless”.

For the unversed, Soundarya Rajinikanth tied the knot for the second time in February 2019 to Vishagan in a close-knit ceremony. Earlier, she was married to a businessman Ashwin Ramkumar in September 2010 and welcomed their first child Ved in May 2015. However, the couple filed for divorce in 2016.

On the professional front, she marked her debut as a director in 2014 with the animated action film Kochadaiiyaan. She is also the founder of Ocher Picture Productions.
