Drishyam 2: Picture of Mohanlal posing with his onscreen family on the sets of the film goes viral

On the occasion of his 60th birthday this year, Mohanlal had officially announced the sequel of the 2013 Malayalam film Drishyam. The film went on floors a few weeks back in Kerala following all the safety protocols.

Now a picture from the location has gone viral on the internet where Mohanlal can be seen posing with his onscreen family. The cast from the first film has been retained for the sequel as well. In the pictures doing the rounds on social media, Mohanlal who is seen as his character George Kutty is posing with his onscreen wife Rani played by Meena and their onscreen kids Anju and Anu played by Ansiba and Esther Anil respectively. Also seen in the picture is director Jeethu Joseph.

 

 

Drishyam 2 is the first project that Mohanlal has begun work on since the coronavirus lockdown began. As per reports, all the members of the film underwent a COVID-19 test before beginning the shoot today.

 

Drishyam was released in 2013 and is the story of a father covering up a murder to save his family. The film which was a huge hit was remade in four other Indian languages.
