Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand exchange tweets amid fan frenzy over King announcement: “Good things take time”

In the days leading up to Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday, social media has been abuzz with speculation surrounding his upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The excitement began when Siddharth posted a cryptic series of tweets that sent fans into a guessing spree.

The filmmaker’s recent posts — “Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock” on October 9, “REMEMBER” on October 29, and “THERE IS” earlier this morning — led many to believe that a major announcement, possibly the teaser for King, was imminent. Given that Shah Rukh’s birthday is just two days away, fans were quick to connect the dots, assuming the celebration might coincide with the film’s reveal.

 

The buzz intensified further when Shah Rukh Khan hosted his much-loved #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter). During the interactive chat, several fans pressed the actor for updates about King. One user wrote, “Sir kya suspense hai ye... please ab kuch toh hint de do! #AskSRK.” SRK, in his signature humorous tone, responded while tagging Siddharth, “Kuch dikha na finally! Fans aur main dono tired ho gaye hain guessing game khelte khelte… aap ‘Remember’… ‘There is..’ bol bolke kya tease kar rahe ho?”

 

 

 

Siddharth Anand soon joined in the fun, clearing the air with his reply: “Hahaha. Sir... ‘Remember’ – Good things take time. ‘There is’ – work still going on for the Title Reveal of our film. #KING.”

 

His clarification confirmed that while fans will have to wait a little longer, work on the much-anticipated title reveal is indeed underway.

 

 

 

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King brings together an ensemble cast led by Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan, marking their first on-screen collaboration. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, and Abhishek Bachchan in pivotal roles. A few weeks ago, SRK and Arshad were spotted shooting for a high-octane sequence in Poland, further fuelling anticipation.
