Netizens come up with creative captions for Javed Akhtar and Gulzar’s picture shared by Shabana Azmi

Actress Shabana Azmi and wife of Javed Akhtar took to her social media handles to share a very interesting picture. In the picture she shared were seen, two of the greatest writer/lyricist of Indian cinema. Javed Akhtar and Gulzar were all smiles as they posed for a picture together in matching white clothes.

With two such great writers in the frame, Shabana Azmi sure fell short of words to fill in a caption and put it on the netizens to give a caption to the picture. Several netizens gave in captions for the image. Some even experimented with the poets in them by commenting poetic lines as a caption.

 

 

 

A user wrote a verse in Hindi which read, “Waqt ki kaid mein, zindagi hain magar; Chand ghadiyaan yahi hain jo aazaad hain!” While one user wrote, “Sagar jaisi ankhon wali, tere bina jiya jaaye naa,” other said, “Yeh kahaan aa gaye hum, yun hi saath chalte chalte.”Several users also commented that they were happy to see the two legends in the same frame and said that words will fall short to describe this moment.

 

Karan Johar retweeted the post and wrote, "Ek sau solah chand ki raatein...ek yeh Tasveer..." referring to the song Mera Kuch Saamaan from Gulzar's 1987-release, Ijaazat.

 

 

 

Though Javed Akhtar and Gulzar have not worked together in films, who knows, their fans might see both of them collaborating for a film in the future soon.
