"Money making films may don't necessarily get five star reviews" - Kareena

 

Kareena Kapoor has had it enough. Even though the numero uno actress has three of her movies (3 Idiots, Golmaal 3, Bodyguard) doing over Rs. 100 crores business just in India and Ra.One is all set to make it four, there have been detractors who have tried to dilute her success with their own opinions. Though in the business for over a decade, Kareena pretty much understands how it operates and isn't flustered with the loose talks, she isn't willing to take it all lying down and doesn't mind reacting vocally for a change.

"See, what is going to happen is going to happen, I have moved on from that stage where I have to sit and wonder how much business my next film is going to do. Eventually no amount of reviews or any sort of detraction can change the way Ra.One is going to be accepted by the audience. I keep hearing that it will do Rs. 200 crores just from India. Great, if it has to then it will", says Kareena.

 

However, there are a few out there who have questioned whether the film would be able to sustain after a monumental start that it is all set to take.

 

Sighs Kareena, "In this industry it is rare that everyone is happy with a film or its success. Fact of the matter is that money making films may don't necessarily get five star reviews but then it is audiences who make it huge. Our fans have to appreciate the film and go to theatres to watch it. Nothing else bothers me actually. I am here to entertain audience and not to deliver rocket science. If you have to use brains then please go and read books; I am fine with that."
