In a recent appearance on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Rajeev Juneja, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Mankind Pharma, opened up about why Bollywood stars like Janhvi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor would be ideal choices for the brand’s condom ads. Additionally, he shared insights into the reasons behind Kartik Aaryan replacing Sunny Leone as the brand ambassador for Manforce Condoms.

Rajeev Juneja Explains the Transition from Sunny Leone to Kartik Aaryan

 

In 2023, Kartik Aaryan was roped in as the new face of Manforce Condoms, replacing Sunny Leone, who had previously represented the brand. Juneja explained that the decision to choose Kartik was made with a focus on targeting the male demographic. “Kartik Aaryan lene ka reason kya hai ki thoda sa male side ke andar we are supposed to go,” he shared, pointing out that Kartik’s appeal and relatability would resonate well with their target audience. Juneja also emphasized the importance of educating youth about consent and sexual health through their collaboration with Kartik.

 

Janhvi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor: The Perfect Fit for Manforce Condoms

 

When asked to select an actor for Manforce Condoms whom he had not worked with before, Juneja had no hesitation in naming Janhvi Kapoor. “Condom ke liye? Kisi ke liye bhi? Janhvi Kapoor. She is apt! She’s the best choice,” he said, praising the actress for her suitability in promoting the product. As for a male counterpart, Juneja named Ranbir Kapoor as the ideal choice. His words further highlighted the versatility of the actors in representing a brand that deals with sensitive topics, while also maintaining a strong connection with younger audiences.

 

The Strategic Selection of Brand Ambassadors for Other Mankind Pharma Products

 

Rajeev Juneja also spoke about other brand endorsements under Mankind Pharma. He described Anushka Sharma as the perfect brand ambassador for Prega News pregnancy test kits, praising her disciplined and professional attitude. Juneja added that while Deepika Padukone would be another ideal choice for the product, the brand had not yet signed her, humorously noting that “Maybe her asking is too much for us.”
