Bollywood celebrities stepped out to cast their votes for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Mumbai. From early morning onwards, Mumbai's polling stations saw a steady influx of actors, directors, and producers, all exercising their democratic rights. Social media was abuzz with posts and stories of various actors at polling stations. Janhvi Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Sanya Malhotra, Akshay Kumar, Rajkummar Rao, and many others have set an example by voting.
In the weeks leading up to the election, many Bollywood stars engaged in extensive social media campaigns to promote voting. These campaigns played a crucial role in raising awareness and motivating people, particularly the younger demographic, to participate in the democratic process.
