Kajol reveals she easily said no to 3 Idiots; says, “I think that I have done very well for myself”

Kajol is currently occupied with promoting her upcoming mythological horror film, Maa. During an interview with Pinkvilla, she revealed that she has turned down several film offers that later became major successes. A notable example she mentioned was 3 Idiots, which starred Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

When Kajol was asked how she manages saying no to people or projects, she replied that it comes very naturally to her and she doesn’t overthink it. She explained, “Lots of times, prime example is 3 Idiots. feel that those films were theirs, you know, jaise bolte hain na jiska likha hua hai usko hi milta hai...toh, I think that I have done very well for myself without them.”

 

In the same interview, Kajol was asked if she would be interested in doing a mature love story with Shah Rukh Khan in the future. She responded, “I would love to see a film like that, yes, definitely! Why not? One can definitely suggest it to Shah Rukh as well. But we will see.” Shah Rukh and Kajol have previously appeared together in several iconic films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
