There is a very conscious effort to be authentic. But when I say authentic, the idea is not to stand out, the idea is rather to blend in.” For Vikrant, the goal of acting has never been to dominate the screen but to inhabit the emotional world of the character. It is this quiet immersion that allows audiences to connect with his roles in a deeply personal way.

 

He further explains that his craft is built on everyday observation rather than formal technique. “I’m not a trained actor or a theatre actor, so there is no fixed method. Everything I’ve acquired over the years is self-taught through observation, travel, interacting with people, the books I read, and the films I watch. It’s an amalgamation of all of that.”

 

This philosophy reflects a larger creative mindset, one that prioritizes empathy over performance. By drawing from real-life experiences and human interactions, Vikrant ensures that his characters feel relatable and grounded. “I want audiences to see a bit of themselves in the characters I play.”
