EXCLUSIVE: “How will I remember the date?” - Payal Ghosh on not remembering the month of the incident

Bollywood actress Payal Ghosh recently accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexually assaulting her. In an interview, she said that the filmmaker allegedly harassed her during the shooting of Bombay Velvet. However, the actress hasn't mentioned when exactly the said event happened. In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Payal Ghosh speaks about the time period when this incident happened.

When asked when this even exactly happened, Payal said, “He was not my lover. When you are in love, you remember the date you met your lover. But how will I remember the date? It kept on haunting me, but still the perfect date, the perfect year, like it is very much within a November - December kind of around . Because I remember in 2015 he called me and asked me to join his Holi party. So definietly it was within those months. So by month it is very difficult to remember.”

The actress said that she will be filing the case on Monday itself at the Oshiwara police station and with the National Commission For Women which is chaired by Rekha Sharma.
