The quirky entertainer Maa Behen released on Netflix three weeks ago and as expected, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Ravi Kishan have impressed viewers with their performances. However, the surprise of the film is Dharna Durga, who plays Rekha’s (Madhuri Dixit) younger daughter and Jaya’s (Triptii Dimri) sister, Sushma. Before Maa Behen, she also appeared in the 2025 romcom Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. In this film, she played the role of Dharna, the best friend and confidante of Tulsi (Janhvi Kapoor), who motivates her when she goes through an ugly break-up. Dharna Durga has a screen time of less than ten minutes and yet managed to raise laughs and deliver a memorable performance. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Dharna Durga spoke about working in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.

Dharna Durga revealed that working with Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor was a wonderful experience. She said, “It was a lot of fun. I had met both of them before as well, and they've always been very warm, sweet and down-to-earth.”

Dharna Durga continued, “Varun has this incredible energy that lights up the entire set, and Janhvi is genuinely very kind and welcoming. They both made everyone feel comfortable, and it was lovely spending time and working with them. I came back with a lot of fond memories from that experience.”

In the same interview, she also spoke highly of her Maa Behen co-star, “I met Madhuri ma'am and suddenly all my preparation disappeared. I became a child. I've grown up watching her films. She's one of those people who feels larger than life. I got emotional and she was incredibly sweet about it. Instead of making it awkward, she comforted me and spoke to me so warmly. Within minutes, she made me feel like I belonged there. That's a quality very few stars have.”
