As a special tribute to Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush tweaked the lyrics of his chartbuster hit when Big B's name was announced as a winner in one of the categories. Recalling this incident, Big B tweeted, "When complete Entertainer announced, Dhanush sings live from audience, a Kolaveri Di number but words to suit the occasion!! Dhanush words were 'Why this Kolaveri, Kolaveri, Kolaveri ..B, .. big B ... TRP .. brilliant absolutely ..!! So lovable and so good!"
