Amid the strong theatrical response to Dhurandhar The Revenge, actor Sara Arjun shared a heartfelt note reflecting on her experience working on the duology and acknowledging the crew members who worked behind the scenes. The post also drew a warm response from Yami Gautam Dhar, who praised Sara’s contribution and described her as “the present and future.”

In her note, Sara Arjun looked back on her journey with director Aditya Dhar and the wider team that brought Dhurandhar to life. She recalled her first meeting with Dhar and wrote that she sensed early on that he would attempt something significant for cinema. According to her, the scale of that vision became clearer as the project progressed.
Reflecting on the filmmaking process, Sara said, “But the peak detailing we all miss along the way hit me only when I looked back, after it was all said and done, and saw the army of people standing outside the frame. This post is dedicated to the unsung heroes of Durandhar 1 & 2.”
She went on to acknowledge the direction team, producers, cinematographer, casting department, costume and makeup teams, music contributors, editors, visual effects artists, production designers, stunt crews, and technicians across lighting, sound, and support departments. Sara emphasised that while actors appear on posters and receive public attention, it is the crew that forms the backbone of cinema.
Sara concluded the post, adding, “Thank you to the entire crew of Durandhar. History has been made.”

Yami Gautam Dhar responds with praise
Sara’s post prompted a response from Yami Gautam Dhar, who is also married to director Aditya Dhar and made a cameo appearance in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Reacting to Sara’s note, she wrote, “You are the present and future, Sara. So proud of what you have done.”
Speaking of the film, it is close to touching the Rs 1000 crores mark at the Indian box office.
