BTS drops first teaser of 'Life Goes On' ahead of 'BE' release, the music video is directed by Jungkook 

After months of anticipation, we are closer to the release of global superstars BTS' upcoming album, 'BE (Deluxe Edition)'. Just three days before the album drops, Big Hit Entertainment, the group's parent company, has dropped the first teaser of the title track 'Life Goes On'.

The first teaser takes you to through the journey of septet - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook - as they reminisce about their past. The cozy campfire feels cuts to the room where all seven of them are dressed in their night suits, watching something! This is in fact the reflection of the lives of everyone around the world, how staying indoors is the new normal.

 

During one of their album video blogs that was released on their Youtube channel BangtanTV, V mentioned how they wanted to film the reality of their lives amid the pandemic. "First, performing without the audience. Second, us staying home and how we spend the day because we can't go outside. Third, reminiscing the past days when we could do things outside. When we could play outside, go on a trip, have a barbecue."

 

RM, SUGA, and J-Hope have participated in the songwriting process of 'Life Goes On'. The video has been directed by the group's youngest member Jungkook. He has previously released his GCF travel videos that showcased his viewpoint of how he sees his members & the world and captures the essence of it.

 

Through 'Life Goes On', the members seem to be telling their stories, how they felt during this quarantine period, the challenges that came with it, and how having each other and finding solace was one of the best remedies to move forward. 'Spring Day' 2.0? 'Sea' 2.0? We'll have to wait and see!

 

The new album delivers a message of healing to the world by declaring, “Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on”. 'BE (Deluxe Edition)' reflects the thoughts, emotions, and deepest ruminations of BTS, who have been actively involved in all aspects of the creative process for this record.

 

The new album arrives on the heels of their record-breaking single 'Dynamite' which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album drops on November 20 and BTS will perform 'Life Goes On' for the first time at the 2020 American Music Awards on November 22.
