Anupamaa fame Anagha Bhosale to quit acting for spirituality
Television actor Anagha Bhosale who is popular for he stint as Nandini, on Star Plus’ popular drama Anupamaa might soon bid adieu to showbiz. The actress who left the show some times back feel that the entertainment industry is full of hypocrisy, and there are things that an actor needs to do to survive there which goes against her thought process and principles.
While talking to a tabloid, Anagha said that after she entered the showbiz world, she realised it is not what she expected it to be. According to her, there is “politics, unhealthy competition, the race to look good and reed-thin all the time” in the acting business. Anagha, being a spiritual being, said she cannot be what she is not and be a part of the industry that is “filled with hypocrisy”.
Anagha has currently returned to her hometown in Pune and is planning to follow a spiritual path in her life now. However, she is grateful for all the love she received for her character of Nandini. She also said that she will return to the show if ever the producer Rajan Shahi calls her back. However, eventually, she has plans to quit acting.
