The Ranbir Kapoor – Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar directed by Luv Ranjan hit screens today. Also featuring cameos by Kartik Aaryan and Nushrratt Bahruccha the rom-com has been making headlines in the run up to its release. But will the hype surrounding the film, coveter into footfalls and collections is the question of the hour.

As per reports, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has seen a strong start of around 35%. Interestingly, while most of India celebrates Holi today morning and afternoon shows in most locations across North India have either remained shut or seen rather low-key occupancy. However, the advance booking for evening and night shows have registered highly positive trends.

 

Currently, Tu Jhooth Main Makkaar, which has received positive feedback, is expected to see further growth in business. In fact, with the Holi festivities providing a much needed mid-week break the business of the film is sure to see immense growth. In fact, early trade predictions state that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar could see its collections hovering above the Rs. 12 cr. mark on Day 1.
