War Box Office Collections: War surpasses Krrish 3; becomes Hrithik Roshan’s highest opening week grosser

The Hrithik Roshan starrer War released a week back and has been unstoppable at the box office since its release. Released across 4000 screens in the domestic market, the Siddharth Anand film continued to rake in the moolah on weekdays as well.

Collecting Rs. 238.35 cr in its opening week, War has managed to surpass the first week collections of Krrish 3 that had collected Rs. 166.52 cr to become Hrithik Roshan’s highest opening week grosser. Besides Krrish 3, the action entertainer War has managed to post better first week collection figures than some of Hrithik Roshan’s other releases as well like, Bang Bang that collected Rs. 135.45 cr, Agneepath that collected Rs. 91.05 cr, Kaabil that collected Rs. 82.18 cr, Super 30 that collected Rs. 75.85 cr, Mohenjo Daro that collected Rs. 51.18 cr, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara that collected Rs. 45.40 cr, Kites that collected Rs. 40.90 cr, and Guzaarish that collected Rs. 22 cr.

 

Evident from the collections War has been doing stellar business at the box office, and expectations are that the business of the film will see growth over its second weekend. In fact predictions state that the collections of War will easily cross the Rs. 250 cr mark by the end of its second weekend.
