KGF – Chapter 2 Vs RRR Vs Baahubali 2 Box Office: Day wise comparison of the first 10 day business
Over a week ago we saw the release of the Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2, the film which comes as a sequel to the previous release KGF – Chapter 1 and has been doing brisk business. After opening on a thunderous note, with advance booking indicating a nearly 80% occupancy rate, the business of KGF 2 has been seeing an increase with each passing day.
In this box office report, we take a comparative look at the business of KGF –Chapter 2 while juxta positioning the same alongside previous releases RRR and Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion. Not surprisingly, the Yash starrer KGF 2 takes the lead, enjoying a four-day extended weekend the business of the film saw a jump start, which was followed up by a stellar first week collection.
Collecting Rs, 298.44 cr. in the first 10 days of its release KGF – Chapter 2 has nearly crossed the Rs. 300 cr. mark as compared to RRR which managed to rake in Rs. 164 cr. in the same time period while Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion comes close with a collection of Rs. 293.25 cr.
Currently, the KGF – Chapter 2 craze remains in effect with audience patronizing the film in droves. Expectedly, the business of the film will cross the Rs. 300 cr. mark on Day 11, with predictions claiming that KGF 2 could well make it to Rs. 350 cr. over its second week.
