Jawan Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan starrer overtakes Gadar 2 to become highest 4th weekend grosser of 2023

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has been creating box office records ever since it released a little under a month ago. The movie entered the Rs. 500 crores mark in record time. Yesterday, it also became the first Bollywood movie to enter the Rs. 600 Crores Club. In other words, SRK became the founder of this particular club for Bollywood.

Along with this, Jawan has also become highest 4th weekend grosser for films released in 2023. The movie, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, has gone onto earn Rs. 22.89 crores in that period. By doing so, it has put behind the Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2, which amassed Rs. 18.72 crores in its fourth weekend.

 

The third position in the list is taken by the surprise blockbuster The Kerala Story with Rs. 11.50 crores. The fourth positon is maintained by Shah Rukh’s previous release Pathaan, which had made Rs. 9.82 in its fourth weekend. Along with this, Jawan has also become the highest 4th weekend earner of all time.

 

Produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s banner Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan is directed by Atlee and it also stars Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Aaliyan Qureishi, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Priya Mani, Girija Oak, Deepika Padukone, among others.
