Box Office: Singham Returns beats Kick to emerge as the highest Opening Day grosser of 2014

 

The Ajay Devgn - Kareena Kapoor starrer Singham Returns that released yesterday has gotten off to a massive start. With the film's lead actors leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film, coupled with the release day coinciding with a national holiday, Singham Returns opening figures have proved to be record breaking.

In this Box Office analysis, we look at the Opening Day collections of Singham Returns as compared to other big ticket films of 2014. Surprisingly, Singham Returns has managed to collect approximately Rs. 32.09 crores on its Opening Day, out beating the previously released Salman Khan - Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Kick that collected Rs. 26.40 crores. With a massive collection like this, Singham Returns has become the Highest Opening Day Grosser of 2014.
