Box Office: Shivaay is the 4th highest Second Weekend grosser of 2016; Ae Dil Hai Mushkil at no. 5

 

It has been two weeks since the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay and both films have been doing well at the box office. While Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma has emerged as the highest grosser between the two until now, Shivaay that stars Ajay Devgn too has managed to hold its own.Box Office: Shivaay is the 4th highest Second Weekend grosser of 2016; Ae Dil Hai Mushkil at no. 5

 

In this box office report, we take a look at the second weekend collections of both Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay while comparing them not just to each other but to the previously released films as well that have made it to the second weekend. Interestingly, looking at the second weekend collections, Shivaay that collected Rs. 17.09 cr manages to get the fourth spot preceded by Sultan that collected Rs. 34.07 cr, Airlift that collected Rs. 19.26 cr and Rustom that collected Rs. 17.12 cr. On the other hand, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that has been leading the race comes in fifth collecting Rs. 16.96 cr in its second weekend.
