Prabhu Dheva's R... Rajkumar starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha released last Friday, to mixed reviews. While certain critics and audience segments panned the film, others seemingly have loved the masala fest.

In this week's edition of Box Office Report Card, we compare the Opening Weekend collections of R... Rajkumar to Shahid's earlier releases. Interestingly, the film ranks first as the highest Opening Weekend grosser for Shahid, collecting Rs. 30.59 crores, overtaking his previous releases Phata Poster Nikhla Hero which collected Rs. 21.25 crores and Mausam which collected Rs. 20.75 crores.

 

On the other hand, when we compared R... Rajkumar's Overseas collections of the Opening Weekend to Shahid's previous releases, it surprisingly has done quite poorly in all Overseas markets.
