Box Office: Chhichhore surpasses Uri - The Surgical Strike on 1st Tuesday, claims the no. 2 spot after Kabir Singh
Chhichhore starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor and helmed by Nitesh Tiwari opened on a decent note on September 6. Since this first collaboration between Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitesh Tiwari, the positive response and word mouth has worked for the film despite limited promotions.
While the promotions were limited and box office collections on first day were decent, the word of mouth for Chhichhore has really helped in the growth in numbers in the coming days. The increase in collections has surpassed the expectations as it even passed the Khooni Monday test.
Following the Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh that recorded tremendous gain in collections on its first Tuesday [Rs. 16.53 cr.], Chhichhore becomes the second film of the year to accomplish this feat by raking in Rs. 10.05 cr on its first Tuesday, surpassing Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 9.57 cr.
