While on iDream, the corporate house is all geared up to release two of their forthcoming flicks JAJANTARAM MAMANTARAM and SAMAY: WHEN TIME STRIKES in the coming months. Loosely adapted from GULLIVER'S TRAVELS, JAJANTARAM MAMANTARAM [J2M2] is one of the most expensive films made for children, in Ashish Bhatnagar's words. The film has 63 minutes of special effects, he adds. While J2M2 will hit the screens on May 16, another kiddie film that's already being talked about is Shringar's CHOTA JADUGAR [3-D], schedule to release on April 11. The Tamil version of the film will open on April 4, while the Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam versions will open on April 11, N. Muthuram of Shringar Films, who hold the Hindi rights of the film, reveal. What is the USP of CHOTA JADUGAR? Says Muthuram, There's a whole new generation of cinegoers who've not experienced the 3-D magic. Plus, the 3-D format by itself is an attraction. But what would really lure children to the theatres again and again are the magical moments in the film as well as the antics of the dog.
