Sonam Kapoor to act in Battle of Bittora adaptation
After playing the ambitious political leader in Raanjhanaa, actress Sonam Kapoor will now play the role of a politician in the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's book 'Battle of Bittora'.

The rights for the book have been bought by Anil Kapoor Productions and Sonam also revealed that she will start shooting for the film by the end of this year. However, she maintained that the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized.

With a tinge of wicked humour, 'Battle for Bittora' is based on the backdrop of romance and politics which brings the story of a carefree, independent girl working in an animated studio who gets trapped in the world of elections owing to her bossy grandmother's wishes.
