Has Saawan Kumar signed Big B?:
An eveninger recently reported that Saawan Kumar had signed the Big B for his forthcoming film, MIRZA GHALIB. We were surprised as much about the news as the name of the film, since we were aware of the fact that Saawan Kumar is currently occupied with AUR KITNE PAKISTAN. Saawan ecoed similar feelings when we spoke to him about MIRZA GHALIB: "This is strange. I cannot possibly start a new production now, apart from the existing film I have announced. This film was to be made 30 years ago with Amitabh Bachchan. I am at a loss to know from where they have dug up this information." According to Saawan, the question of making MIRZA GHALIB just did not arise. Yet another rumour has been put to rest.
