Eyeing Republic Day weekend

J.P.Dutta has very unwillingly cut out 17 minutes of his four-hour plus multistarrer LOC Kargil. The trimming includes one song and a few scenes. But that's not all. Some distributors in UP, Bihar and Punjab have cut about 40 minutes to one hour of the film to accommodate one more show of the film. Also they feel that the trimming would help the prospects of the film as the extra large length may act as a hindrance testing the audiences' patience.
