Big B signs Rituparno Ghosh's next

After working with Jaya Bachchan in Sunglass, filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh is all set to direct Amitabh Bachchan for his forthcoming film. Ghosh has been trying to sign Bachchan for two years now and finally he will be directing Big B for his untitled English film. According to Ghosh, Bachchan will play an old but passionate, fading Shakespearean actor. He is planning to start this film in February. While this will be Amitabh Bachchans first full fledge English film, it can be recalled that Big Bs Black also was largely in English. Bachchans releases this year include Vidhu Vinod Chopras Ek Lavya-The Royal Guard, RGVs Nishabd and Balakrishnan Cheeni Kum.
