Adlabs Cinemas launches second property in Pune

Adlabs Cinemas, part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and India 's leading entertainment conglomerate, launches its second Pune property today ie 25 May 2007, with a four-screen 1323 seat cinema spread over a massive 37,000 square feet at Premier Plaza in Pimpri-Chinchwad near the old Mumbai-Pune highway. The new Adlabs property will have four screens, food kiosks, a convenient parking facility, the latest surround system sound and the widest screens in the city. Tushar Dhingra, COO Adlabs Cinemas commented on the launch saying, "For our second cinema in the Pune area, we zeroed upon Chinchwad because it has a lot of potential due to being an industrial area where several corporates and colleges are situated. Also upcoming residential projects and rising mall culture in the area will provide us with a ready and quality conscious audience." Cinema-goers can also look forward to Adlabs' unique customer service initiatives such as Baby Bliss and Silver Screen targeted at young parents and senior citizens respectively which will also be available at the Chinchwad property. Adlabs Cinemas is spread over 19 properties and 69 screens. It is currently in the process of launching two more properties in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. Adlabs recently acquired Rave Entertainment's cinemas business consisting of 23 screens in Delhi/NCR, UP, Punjab and Haryana, putting it well on its way to becoming the leader in the exhibition space by July 2007.
