Aanch' on Tuesday,not Friday

Everyone's waiting for the Idd week to reap the benefit of the holiday period. No wonder, you have the biggest of producers clamouring to release their keenly-anticipated films in this particular week. As of now, there's KAL HO NAA HO, JANASHEEN and DIL PARDESI HO GAYAA that have been confirmed on this date. Add one more name now AANCH. Starring Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal, the film marks the debut of yesteryear actress Vyjayantimala's son Suchinder Bali as the young lead. The makers of AANCH have decided to release the film not on Friday, November 28, but on Tuesday, November 25. We want to reap the benefit of the Idd holidays, instead of waiting to release the film after 4 days, on a Friday, Puneet Khare, the executive producer of AANCH, tells me. Let's hope this strategy pays off!
