Sonakshi Sinha has join the mad cap gang of Happy Bhag Jayegi in the film’s sequel, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. Unlike many other Bollywood sequels, this one actually takes off from where the prequel had left. And joining the team of Diana Penty, Ali Fazal, and Jimmy Sheirgill, is Sonakshi along with Jassie Gill. Considering that the team had a ball of a time shooting in China, where the sequel has been extensively filmed, here’s the new Happy making some intriguing revelations about her co-star.

The two Happys, namely, Sonakshi Sinha and Diana Penty came together during the promotions of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi for an exclusive chat with Bollywood Hungama. Amidst the interview, Sonakshi was asked the different types of quirky gifts she would want to gift the celebrities she has worked with. So when the name of Jimmy Sheirgill popped up, after a brief moment, the actress responded that she would gift him a lie detector and she also had an interesting reason to give!

“I would give him a lie detector which he should carry everywhere, because he cracks jokes with the straightest of faces. You can’t tell whether he is serious or actually kidding. In fact, I would gift the lie detector machine to myself so that I can carry it while I am with him,” said Sonakshi Sinha.

Besides that, the actress had some more interesting gifts to be given to some of her other co-stars. For Ajay Devgn it was dancing shoes, for the co-producer of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, Aanand L. Rai it was food, for Salman Khan it was sunglasses and for Diana Penty, it was speakers.

Coming to the film Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, it is directed by Mudassar Aziz and it released on August 24.
