Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial venture Dangal starring Aamir Khan released a while back in China. The film which hit screens in this territory much after its release in the worldwide market, has still managed to not only do well, but in fact it has managed to set new benchmark records within the Chinese market.
After witnessing a slight dip in collections on week days last week, the collections of Dangal spiked over the weekend yet again. Now on Day 27 within the Chinese market Dangal has managed to draw in another USD 1.76 million [Rs. 11.34 cr]. While the collections of Dangal are expected to remain stable for the time being, the film is likely to face competition from the forthcoming Hollywood venture Wonder Woman, for which paid previews have begun.
However, look at the current trend at the box office, Dangal is more than likely to cross the Rs. 1000 crore mark within the next one to two days, currently, the total box office collection of Dangal in the Chinese market sands at USD 153.94 million [Rs. 992.14 cr].
