Rock On bags 2 prestigious awards

Come January and the season of film awards starts with one award ceremony after the other. One of the prime contenders for many major awards this year is Excel Entertainment and Big Pictures' Rock On. In fact, even before the actual awards season could head start, Rock On has started rocking in its true sense. After receiving many accolades, proud producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Big Pictures have got another feather to add in their already full hats. Recently the movie received two eminent awards; Anand Lok Star Puraskar for 'Best Film' in Kolkata and the 'Path-breaking Film of the Year' at the Star Sabse Favourite Kaun Awards.
An ecstatic Farhan Akhtar said, "Rock On has been a great experience, but what has been even more beautiful is the appreciation this movie has received. Rock On is a coming of age film and I am more than glad that the critics as well as the audiences have loved this film so much. The 'Sabse Favourite Kaun' Award is symbolic of the love of the audiences; after all, what is better than receiving an award which has been chosen by the audiences itself!"
Even producer Ritesh Sidhwani can't stop grinning from ear to ear. "Appreciation and accolades are always welcome, but it is even more special when it comes from the audience, because in the end it is them who make us! I am so delighted to have received two extremely prestigious awards, both of which have been the audiences' choice. Rock On is a very special movie, and I am eternally thankful to the audience for embracing this film so well".
From the looks of it, the good times only seemed to have begun for team Rock On!!!
