Today is the birthday of the man (read 'the deadliest dude') who was born to a middle class Punjabi family in Amritsar. He lived with his parents in the famous locality of Chandni Chowk. Post that, he shifted his base to aamchi Mumbai, a place that paved his way to not just stardom but superstardom! He is a living example of the phrase 'There is no substitute to hard work'. He has proved that one does not need a famous surname to make it really big in Bollywood. He is none other than Rajeev Bhatia aka Khiladi Kumar aka Akshay Kumar.
He started off his Bollywood career with Saugandh. Even though the film did no good to his career, it gave Bollywood its very own Khiladi! What followed after that were films that only consolidated his position in Bollywood, which included the 'Khiladi' series and the recently released smash hit film of all times Singh Is Kinng.
