Akshay's on-screen jodi with Katrina is giving Salman heartache and sleepless nights. This news-report in a daily yesterday created a mini-storm in the industry. After all, Akshay and Katrina make a fabulous jodi [on screen, of course] and the professional that she is, Katrina wouldn't want to sacrifice her career advantage [Akshay] for her personal life [Salman].
Shooting in New York for Kabeer Khan's film with John Abraham, Katrina hardly sounded perturbed by the story. "I've stopped reacting to these stories. Why would Salman stop me from acting with Akshay? Salman has never stopped me. If he had an issue, would Akshay and I participate in an episode of 10 KA DUM?" Katrina tells me.
Which means that if a producer offers her a film with Akshay, she would take it up instantly? "Of course, yes! Why shouldn't I work with Akshay? He's an excellent co-star. Please don't believe these silly stories," Katrina adds. The clarification should silence the rumour mills!
