"No panga with SRK" - Ratan Jain

After making a string of films with Shah Rukh Khan [BAAZIGAR, BADSHAAH, JOSH, YES BOSS, MAIN HOON NA], Ratan Jain of Venus isn't working with the superstar anymore. Why? "The question should be altered slightly. Why isn't SRK working with me any longer?" Ratan Jain smiles.
Jokes apart, have they had a bitter fallout? "Not at all! The problem is, Shah Rukh has cut down on his acting assignments. He's acting in hardly one or two films every year. Plus, he has also turned producer. Even if I approach him for a film, the first question he would ask is, 'Okay, what's the script?' And the second would be, "Who's the director?' I have none -- not a script befitting SRK, nor a director," Ratan Jain confides.
Jain continues in the same breath, "Money has never been an issue. After all, who wouldn't want to work Shah Rukh? Since he has his production company as well, we're open to co-producing the film too. But, trust me, we don't have a script yet."
Meanwhile, the veteran producer is starting a film with the HERA PHERI team of director Priyadarshan and actors Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal next. Three heroines are under finalization for this project. Plus, there's a film with Abbas-Mustan as well.
